1. Who we are
Fidesa Yachting ("we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@fidesa-yachting.com or on WhatsApp at +355 69 609 5400.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry data you submit voluntarily: name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and your message.
- Enquiry context: the model or ownership topic you were viewing and a reference number generated for your request.
- Campaign data where available: referral source and advertising parameters (for example utm_source, utm_campaign, gclid).
- Technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, collected only where analytics cookies are permitted.
3. Why we use it and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and provide advisory, delivery and registration information — legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request.
- To keep a record of enquiries and correspondence — legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and evidencing our business.
- To measure the performance of our advertising and improve this page — legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
- To comply with legal, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations where a transaction proceeds — legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Sharing
We share data only where necessary: with our email and hosting providers, with our analytics and advertising measurement providers (where you have consented), and with the manufacturer, shipyard or registration agents when this is required to progress your specific request. We never sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a commercial relationship begins, in which case statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's configured limits.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time — including by changing your cookie choices on our cookie policy page. To exercise any right, email contact@fidesa-yachting.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
This page uses essential cookies and, with your consent, analytics and advertising measurement cookies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest version.
